What do you need to know before you make an order?

Mongolian Traditional yurt has been used for thousands of years as a dwelling, dating back in 1271, Marco Polo documented our yurt when he visited in Mongolia.

Mongolian people still live in the yurt, in fact, more than half Mongolian (61%) live in the yurt (National Geographic.org). Mongolian people experience all kind of weather conditions which they face a flaming hot summer (over 40C) and freezing cold winter (below -40C) while they live in the yurt.

Why do you need to take care of your yurt?

Mongolian people use 1 or 2 yurts during their lifetime by fixing & mending some parts if needed to. However, it does not mean you can or expect to use a yurt for the same period without willing to do the same work. As a yurt which belongs to a tent family, you should expect to take care of it constantly as soon as the yurt is up. Please, think thoroughly before putting your order, ‘’a yurt is not a house’’
